Sign-in methods

Open Security to manage how you sign in. You can use email, phone, or both.

Add a method

1. Sign in and open Security.
2. For phone, enter the number and the SMS code.
3. For email, enter the address and complete verification.

If that phone or email already belongs to another account, OpenApp offers to combine accounts instead of failing.

Remove a method

You must keep at least one way to sign in. A placeholder email used for phone-only accounts does not count.

To remove phone or email when you have both:

1. Choose Remove phone or Remove email.
2. Enter the code sent to the method that stays (email code to drop phone, SMS to drop email).
3. You stay signed in. Next time, use the method you kept.
