2. Use your personal workspace
Almost everything in OpenApp (integrations, devices, API keys) lives inside an organization (“org”). When you finish Create account (including accepting the terms when asked), OpenApp creates a personal workspace for you. In the org switcher, look for something that sounds like your own corner of OpenApp — for example Sam’s workspace, docs@example.com’s workspace, or My workspace.
Use only that org for this guide:
- Open the org switcher in the dashboard header.
- Select your personal workspace and leave it selected for every step below.
Your personal workspace is not a fixed address in the link bar; use the org switcher to select it. Home is your personal access home in the app, not a shortcut to that org—when this guide points you to Resources or Integrations, the org switcher should still be on your personal workspace.
Do not switch to other orgs while you follow this guide; they may be shared spaces with different permissions and will only slow you down here.
With your personal workspace pinned in the org switcher, every Resources and Integrations screen in this guide applies to that org. The next step spells out roles so it is clear why the controls you need are available (and what would differ in someone else’s org).
